Kutai National Park is one of the National Parks at East Kalimantan
that can be the most easily reached, from Balikpapan airport. The
National Park lies along the Coastal side of East Kalimantan about 325

by car in about 6 to 7 hours drive, upon the chosen transport facility.
By public bus one have to transit the bus 2 times, at Samarinda city
and Bontang, this journey can take up to 10 hours, as the
public buses wait till they have enough passengers before they leave.
For a flight from Balikpapan to Bontang one have to request a seat as
this route is only operated by chartered flights of companies, if seats

Kutai National Park has a small lodge facility for guests with two
